Sub-branches were auto-generated then hand refined (to prevent meshes clashing).

Leaves were hand-added to a bushel, then the bushel was hand-added to the model. Usually this is done with a particle system, but it does not produce authentic results.

Tree beard and other small details were hand added or added with particle systems as the case best fit.

All meshes were modeled with the least number of polygons while still retaining quality.
