Quick Instances Pro

Quick Instances Pro is the fully-fledged Blender addon that makes grouping a breeze. It is powerful and intuitive and will suit professionals who deal in large scene with hundreds, if not thousands of objects (and we're not talking particle systems!). Here are the functions:

1) Create groups

2) Add objects to groups

3) Edit groups

4) Remove objects from groups

5) Undo groups

6) Create nested groups (“groups of groups”)

7) Add objects or groups to nested groups

8) Edit nested groups

9) Remove objects or groups from nested groups

10) Undo nested groups

Quick Instances Pro is compatible up to Blender 4.1. Stay tuned for an update for Blender 4.2+.
